Privacy policy
The protection of your personal data matters to us. We process personal data sparingly, for specific purposes and in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and — where applicable — the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Principle
Our website can generally be used without providing any personal data. We only collect personal data if you actively share it with us — for example via our contact form — or if it is technically necessary for operating the website.
3. Data collected when visiting the website (server log files)
When the website is accessed, our hosting provider automatically records and temporarily stores technical data: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser and operating system used, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website, error analysis and the prevention of misuse. It is not combined with other data sources or evaluated on a personal basis.
4. Contact form
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process the data you provide — name, email address, optionally company and phone number, your message and any product reference (article number and model) — exclusively to process and respond to your enquiry. Transmission is encrypted; the enquiry is delivered to our business address info@alba-krapf.ch. The data is not passed on for any other purposes.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use no tracking or marketing cookies and deliberately avoid advertising and profiling services such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel. There is no profiling and no cross-site tracking.
To measure reach we use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless service that records only aggregated metrics (such as page views, approximate origin and load times). No cookies are set, no cross-device recognition takes place and no personal profiles are created; IP addresses are not stored. Processing is carried out by Cloudflare as a processor (see section 6).
6. Processors and data transfers
We use carefully selected service providers to operate the website:
- Hosting & delivery: Cloudflare — provision and delivery of the website (server log files, protection against misuse), as well as cookieless reach measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- Email delivery for the contact form: Resend — technical delivery of your enquiry to us; processing within the EU (Ireland).
These service providers process data on our behalf and according to our instructions. This may involve transfers to countries outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA (including the USA). In such cases, we ensure an adequate level of protection through appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
7. Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp
If you contact us directly by email or via WhatsApp, your details are stored in order to handle your request. When using WhatsApp, the privacy terms of the provider (Meta) additionally apply; data may be transferred to the USA in the process. Using WhatsApp is voluntary.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as required for the stated purposes or by legal obligations. After that, it is deleted.
9. Data security
The website is delivered over an encrypted TLS connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
10. Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to information about the data processed about you, as well as to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact info@alba-krapf.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
11. Changes
We may amend this privacy policy at any time to reflect changed legal or technical circumstances. The version published on this page is authoritative.
